The Changemaker Circle was inspired by a quotation from a long-time member and volunteer who said:
"…People do things for love you couldn't possibly pay us for … in the beginning we love our kids and want life to be better for them and then we want life to be better for others – it's like throwing a pebble in the water and those circles widen and widen and widen. That first pebble is love."
